La estrella de películas de acción es capturada por la siniestra Corporación Umbrella para elaborar con su sangre un suero con poderosas capacidades curativas, sin embargo consigue salir a salvo de ese peligro Resident Evil: Afterlife es el título de la cuarta entrega de la saga de películas pertenecientes al concepto Resident Evil, y que como bien se sabe están basadas en los videojuegos del mismo titulo. El guión de este nuevo filme lo escribió Paul W. S. Anderson, quien fue director de la primera cinta de la serie y ahora volvió a ocupar ese mismo puesto.
This week Hollywood has shimmered from the Mann Chinese Theater to the Egyptian Theater, as the LA Latino International Film Festival brought out thousands of fans to watch movies and support the work of filmmakers from twenty Latin American countries. Latino Weekly Review sponsored the week long festival and salutes the co-founders Edwards James Olmos and Marlene Dermer, and the winning filmmakers.

Thirty three year old Venezuelan film director, Marcel Rasquin, arrived at the LA Latino International Film Festival with a story so powerful and compelling he and his film, Hermano, quickly became the brilliant stars of the festival. LALIFF directors Edward James Olmos and Marlene Dermer, were joined by LA Mayor Antonio Villariagosa and City Council President Eric Garcetti in welcoming hundreds of supporters of Latino themed films to the Mann Grauman Chinese Theater for one of the most important film events in Los Angeles.
